Prepare a Way for the Lord Poster

This is our Advent task as we prepare for the coming of our Lord into our hearts and into the world around us.

We have to cut deep into hills, build bridges across deep valleys, even to tunnel right through some hills, in order to open the way for the Lord,

But it is a two-way journey. We are also carving out our road into the mystery of God. We long for a star, but to find our star, and, having found it, to follow it, we have to create our road, sometimes digging deep, sometimes spanning great ravines.

Sometimes we lose sight of our stars or the road peeters out, but if we keep seeking we will find our way and come to the broad light spaces of inner freedom as we approach the light of God
