These terms and conditions apply to the online business of McCrimmon Publishing Company Limited (McCrimmons). Every effort is made to keep these terms accurate and up to date, however, McCrimmons reserve the right to vary these at any time without prior notice.

Jurisdiction.
The website, its contents, terms and conditions is governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
Those accessing the website from outside of this jurisdiction are responsible for compliance with their local laws and taxes.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. These terms & conditions comply with the current Distance Selling Regulations 2000.
Website & Third Party links.
McCrimmons provides its own publications and services together with a range of products from third party publishers and retailers.
This website may indicate useful links to external websites which will be identified (e.g. YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter etc.) If you choose to visit any such external website McCrimmons cannot be held responsible for its content or operations policies as to privacy and security.
Likewise, McCrimmons does not accept any responsibility for any external website outside of its control which may act as a portal or gateway or have a connecting link to McCrimmon’s website.
Currency, Taxes, Payment Methods & Security of Transactions.
Currency: All prices are quoted in GB pounds sterling. Any goods ordered from outside the UK will be charged at the current exchange rate, please check with your card provider for any additional charges that may accrue for transactions in pounds sterling.
UK VAT is shown on all website prices as follows (Sept 2013): 0% on books, 20% on all other media & services. Purchasers outside the UK will be exempt from these taxes.
Overseas import or customs taxes: If you are ordering from outside of the EU any import duties and taxes are your own responsibility and if you are ordering on a credit account you may not deduct any such additional charges from money owed to McCrimmons.
Payment methods: McCrimmons accepts payment by BACS, credit card, debit card, PayPal, or cheque.
Overseas payments methods: customers may also pay by international bank transfer, Euro cheque, US dollar cheque, or sterling draft drawn on a UK bank.
Secure Payments: Online card payments are made securely at the time of purchase through SagePay. McCrimmons does not retain card details in accordance with Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance standard.
McCrimmons reserves the right to refuse the supply of goods at its discretion.
Credit Accounts.
Churches, schools and other acceptable non-trade organisations based in United Kingdom and Northern Ireland will automatically be eligible for a credit account and may be invoiced for orders if preferred or choose to pay by any of the payment methods listed above. This credit facility is solely at McCrimmons discretion and may be withdrawn at any time. Any customer providing incorrect or misleading personal information concerning identity, billing or delivery addresses may have their credit facility withdrawn.
All invoices must be settled within 30 days of issue unless otherwise stated. A monthly statement will be issued to all account holders showing any outstanding balance and any payments due. Failure to settle balances on time when requested may result in the withdrawal of credit account facilities.
Trade Customers.
Trade organisations should apply for our business terms.
Contract, Time of Payment and Delivery Times.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate personal information concerning identity, billing and delivery addresses. McCrimmons reserves the right to withhold goods where incorrect or misleading personal information has been provided.
When you place an order to purchase a product from McCrimmons we will send you an automatic e-mail confirming receipt of your order and a follow up email containing the details and content of your order.
Your order represents an offer to McCrimmons to purchase a product which is accepted by McCrimmons when we dispatch that product to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the product to you. Any products on the same order which we have not dispatched do not form part of that contract.
Title and ownership of the goods passes to the customer once McCrimmons has been paid in full and has dispatched the goods to your designated address.
McCrimmons may ask third party suppliers to dispatch goods on our behalf direct to your address; ownership of the goods passes to the customer once McCrimmons has been paid in full and the third party has dispatched the goods to your address on our behalf. If there is any variation to our delivery charges caused by supply from a third party supplier we will notify you in advance of payment being taken from your account or invoice being raised.
Payment for out of stock items.
Any item which is out of stock at the time an order is placed will be added to your basket and payment will be taken, however, McCrimmons will email details of the delay in supply and will arrange with you to either forward the item at the first opportunity or to give you a refund for that part of your order.
In the event of a delay of 30 days or more McCrimmons will offer a refund of payment on the delayed items. With the exception of personalized or customized items you may cancel back orders at any time.
Goods which are in stock at McCrimmons, Southend will usually be supplied within 1 - 2 working days unless otherwise informed. Customers requesting delivery to addresses outside the UK will be informed of delivery time and shipping and handling charges before goods are dispatched.
Delivery times for personalized or customized goods will be agreed by arrangement before payment is taken or an invoice is raised. Orders for these items may not be cancelled without prior arrangement with McCrimmons. Should you chose to cancel any back order for personalized or customized products McCrimmons reserve the right to charge you in part or in full for the order.
Delivery & Cancellation Rights & Returns Policy
Delivery & Cancellation Rights.
In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel any order (see exceptions below) from the time of order until seven days after receipt of the goods. In the event of cancellation you must contact McCrimmons by phone, email , fax or post to advise us as soon as possible of your wish to cancel.
If goods have been received they must be returned to McCrimmons at the earliest opportunity and must arrive at McCrimmons in mint condition, in their original state and you must pay the original carriage and the return carriage including any duties or taxes that may be incurred. (N.B McCrimmons will not charge return carriage if the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied or where McCrimmons has made a prior agreement to pay for return carriage).
Exceptions to the right to cancel an order are as follows (this does Not apply to goods which are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied):
1. CDs, DVDs or Computer Software if the seal or wrapping has been broken or the item has been used.
2. Personalized or customized items such as Banners, Prayer Books etc.
3. Downloadable items such as music files or e-books.

Non- delivery: If you do not receive the goods you ordered within 30 days of the date on which they were dispatched to you McCrimmons will have no liability to you unless you notify them within 40 days of the date on which they were dispatched to you.
Variations to Pricing and Supply.
McCrimmons reserves the right to cancel an order or refuse to supply goods if we have insufficient stock to meet your request, or if the price was incorrectly listed because of a typing error or incorrect information received by us from third party suppliers.
We do endeavour to keep prices up to date, however, the prices advertised (particularly from third party suppliers) are subject to change. If a price has changed substantially we will inform you of this before we dispatch your item in order to pass on this price variation. You do have the right to cancel the order if you wish in accordance with your cancellation rights outlined above.
Returns policy
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrectly Supplied Goods.
Please contact McCrimmons within 7 days of receipt by email, phone, fax or post so that we can arrange for collection of the item or send you a return carriage paid label. A refund or credit note for the item and any carriage cost incurred will be issued or, if preferred and stock is available, a replacement will be supplied.
Unwanted Goods.
McCrimmons operates a returns policy in accordance with the UK Distance Selling Regulations so any unwanted item (see exceptions below) may be returned within 7 working days of the delivery of your order for a full refund or credit note for the returned item.
In the event of a return you must contact McCrimmons by, email, phone, fax, or post within 7 working days of receipt of your goods to advise us of your wish to return an item.
Goods must be returned to McCrimmons at the earliest opportunity and must arrive at McCrimmons in mint condition, in their original state (wrapping and labels intact) and you must pay the original carriage and the return carriage to McCrimmons unless we have made a prior agreement to pay for the return carriage.
If the item is damaged or degraded during return transit to McCrimmons this will be your responsibility and McCrimmons may refuse to refund or credit the item.
Exceptions to the right to return an unwanted order are as follows (this does Not apply to goods which are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied):
1. CDs, DVDs or Computer Software if the seal or wrapping has been broken or the item has been used.
2. Personalized or customized items such as Banners, Prayer Books etc.
3. Downloadable items such as music files or e-books.
4. Annuals, dated or time sensitive materials without prior agreement of McCrimmons.
Please note that the above does not apply to trade customers who require prior authorization from McCrimmons to return unwanted goods and that this will be given at McCrimmon's discretion. Trade customers may return faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods in the usual way.
Privacy Policy & Cookies.
McCrimmons does not trade or rent customer details to any other parties or organisations. We collect personal information for the purpose of supplying orders, contacting customers with information about orders or replying to customers' product enquiries.
McCrimmons may from time to time send you details of new or seasonal products we supply, or special offers, by post or email, you may opt out of these at any time by emailing us here sales@mccrimmons.comCookies.
This website uses essential functional (session) cookies, which do not identify you in any way. We do not use them for tracking, analytical or any unlawful purposes. We use cookies to store a unique, randomly generated code, which enables us to store information that you are using within the site such as shopping cart contents, information you have entered into online forms, and search data. It is only used for the purposes of retaining the information as you move from page to page, and the cookie automatically "dies" at the end of the session.

Delivery Charges.
Delivery Charges as at April 2022.
Shipping and handling charges shown in the online Shopping Cart apply to delivery within the UK only. For charges applied to delivery addresses outside the UK see below.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate address details for billing and delivery, failure to do so may result in shipping and handling charges being varied before goods are dispatched. Any variation to shipping and handling will be communicated to the customer in advance of dispatch.
Delivery within the UK.
McCrimmons
currently use Royal Mail (Letter & Parcel Post) and the courier UPS Courier (next day or two day) for deliveries. Weight, size and order value determine
which service is used for each order. Addition of VAT depends on the contents of the parcel and applies to all carriage EXCEPT for deliveries of McCrimmons own book publications (if a parcel has mixed contents VAT will be added).
Geographical Surcharge.
For items over 1kg a surcharge may be levied to certain geographical areas in the UK. Current surcharges apply to the following areas & post codes:

Delivery outside of the UK.
McCrimmons endeavour to find the best value delivery method for goods sent to addresses outside the UK. Each order will be individually priced based on weight, size, contents and required delivery date. Customers who place orders from outside of the UK will be contacted with details of the shipping and handling charge on their order. This will replace any shipping and handling charge shown in the Shopping Cart. Once the shipping and handling fee is agreed goods will be dispatched.
Note all customers from outside the EU are responsible for any additional local duties and taxes which may be levied (see taxes above).
