The Journey to Bethlehem Poster
The text is taken from Exodus
16:6-7, where Moses and Aaron are encouraging the people who are losing heart
in the desert.
In psalm 23(24) we sing: "O gates lift high
your heads, grow higher, ancient doors, let the King of glory enter."
The glory of the yet unborn Lord is shining
around Mary and Joseph, a light still hidden from the people.
He is coming to his own, but his own do not know
him (John 1:10).
No doors will open, there will be no place for
him in the inn (Luke 2:7).
But we will see his glory, soon to be sung by
the angels, to be witnessed by the Magi - "full of grace and
truth"(John 1:14).
