This banner draws its symbolism from the Book of Revelation (ch.21-22): '...the New Heaven and the New Earth, opened up for us by Jesus.'

There is the river of life, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb, image of the Spirit given to us in Baptism, the river through which we have passed with Jesus into the Promised Land. Trees of life grow on either side, whose leaves are the health of the nations, for all the world. His life is our life, here and now, and eternally.
