This
image represents a favourite baptismal antiphon (Vidi Aquam) sung by the
congregation as the celebrant sprinkles the people with the newly blessed
baptismal water.
The
Temple is the Church from which the saving, healing stream of water flows.
Water and blood flowed from the right side of Christ on the cross. The Temple
is his Body. A climax in the rich imagery of the Easter Liturgy, revealing the
full significance of water symbolism in the Bible.
Created
for use during the Easter season this would also be a wonderful addition
positioned near the Baptismal font.
