St. Werburgh was a Benedictine and patroness of Chester, Abbess of
Weedon, Trentham, Hanbury, Minster in Sheppey, and Ely.
She was born early in the seventh century and died on 3rd
February in 699 or 700.
Feast day 3rd February.
