the Gentiles

Jesus said, "I tell you, you are Peter,
(Gk. Petros), and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of
death shall not prevail against it. I will give you the
keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be
bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in
heaven.’" (Matt 16:19).
. . .God, who had set me apart before I was born and called me through his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son to me, so that I might proclaim him among the Gentiles. . . (Paul to the Galatians 1: 15-16).
