Details of the Saint's Feast day is printed at the top of the poster.
Hugh of Lincoln, Bishop. Carthusian. Worked with his own hands on the extension to Lincoln Cathedral. Feast Day 17th November.
The artwork by the Benedictine Sisters of Turvey Abbey depicts the saint
in traditional pose with a swan as his emblem refering to the tradition
of the friendship between Hugh and a wild swan which followed him
wherever he went in Lincoln.
