St. Philip - Banner BAN1107
St. Philip, Apostle.
He shares his feastday of 3rd May with
St. James the Less, Apostle.
He was from Bethsaida and was called by
Christ to be an apostle. He also introduced Bartholomew to Jesus. Tradition indicates
that he preached the Gospel in Greece, Syria & Phrygia where he may have
been crucified.
Philip said to him,
