1384 - 1440, noted for her charitable works she founded the Benedictine
Oblates of the Tor de'Specchi. A married woman and mother of six children,
two of whom pre-deceased her, she became superior of the Oblates when her
husband died.
Named patron saint of motorists by Pope Pius XI.
