St. Mungo also known as St. Kentigern, bishop.

It is thought that he established a monastic community near what is now Glasgow. He died around 612 and a cathedral was built over his tomb.

St. Mungo's reputed four miracles are represented in the coat of arms of Glasgow.

Feast Day in Scotland 13th January.
