Stephen c.35 the first martyr
(proto-martyr) was one of the seven deacons who assisted the twelve Apostles
after Jesus' ascension. Stoned to death outside Jerusalem as a blasphemer, he
died praying for his killers. Saul of Tarsus later St Paul was present at his
death.
Feastday 26th December.
Wall Hanging Banner: Dye sublimation printing on a 100% close weave,
natural feel polyester material with dowling, tulip wood end caps and gold
effect hanging cord. Fire retardant: BS5867/Type B DIN4102. An extra
depth of approx. 12" should be allowed when measuring to allow for the
