Wilfrid, Bishop.
Feast Day 12th October.
Born in Northumbria circa 634 and
educated at Lindisfarne. He championed the customs of the Roman Church at the
Synod of Whitby. He was Bishop of York but also did missionary work in England
and the Low Countries. He founded churches and monasteries under the Rule of
St. Benedict. He was also a patron of the arts.
Wall Hanging Banner: Dye sublimation printing on a 100% close weave,
natural feel polyester material with dowling, tulip wood end caps and gold
effect hanging cord. Fire retardant: BS5867/Type B DIN4102. An extra
depth of approx. 12" should be allowed when measuring to allow for the
hanging cord. A sample of the material can be supplied upon request.
